ಪುರಸಭಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 40 ಮೈಕ್ರಾನ್ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಚೀಲ ಹಾಗು ಕಪ್ಪು ಬಣ್ಣದ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಚೀಲಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಿಷೇದಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ

ದಿನಾಂಕ 4-3-2011 ರಂದು ಪುರಸಭಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಠ ಜಾತಿ-ಪಂಗಡದವರಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ತಪಸಣಾ ಶಿಬಿರವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು
