1) Landfill site, possession and development activities :
Located at near Alangar Marpady village, which is about average 3.00km from city limits, measuring 2.05 acreas, Engineering landfill method will be followed for disposal of solid waste. For development activities tender is called ( Land fill site compound wall) for the estimated cost of about 9.10 Lakhs.
2) Action plan finalization:
Action plan for Rs.38.18 lakhs has been submitted to DMA. Funds for Rs. 18.92lakhs has been released.

4) Door to Door Collection:
Primary collection in TMC command area i.e. 18 wards, will be done through T.C.Gs remaining 5 wards will be done by ULB.
5) Secondary Collection:
Metalcontainer of 3.00 and 4.5cum capacity will be used for secondary storage, which will be handelled mechanically through tractor placer, theses transporatation vehicles carry and unload the waste at landfill site.
6) SWM Tender finalization as per State policy Rules:
MSW street sweeping in 23 wards in single package has been given to private
contractor.
